History
In 1806 a man called John Coller explored the area where Yellowstone is now, when he got back from his exploration of yellowstone very few people believed his tales. Later Jim Bridger and Osborne Russell started telling people of Yellowstone's beauties, but still nobody believed them. Then in 1071 Ferdinand Hayden led a expedition to Yellowstone to see its beauties and prove to everybody that it existed. He brought with him a painter, Thomas Moran, and a photographer, William Henry Jackson for visual proof. After that "on March 1, 1872 the president signed a bill into law setting aside 2.2 million acres" making Yellowstone the first national park in America.
